A Journey Through Design at the Six Walls Showroom | EASTSIDE ELEVATED

As I step into the vibrant Six Walls Interior Design showroom on Mercer Island, I'm immediately struck by the energy and inspiration that fills the space. This is not just a showroom; it’s a fully immersive experience designed for anyone passionate about home design. But my visit today is to explore the vision behind one of my favorite interior design firms and how they create stunning, functional living spaces for their clients.

Kitchen & Bath Director, Jen Kowalski, shares how the showroom is meticulously crafted to ignite creativity and foster inspiration. Displaying an array of kitchen styles—from modern to transitional and traditional—the showroom offers an extensive palette for clients to engage with. It also features outdoor living areas, textiles, area rugs, and custom furnishings, catering to a diverse clientele, whether they are first-time homeowners or experienced designers.

Roshini Houser, Design Director, who brings attention to an exceptional project: a cliffside home in Chelan. As she describes the sprawling three-floor layout, you can envision the perfectly designed spaces, including a stunning kitchen tailored for cooking enthusiasts. The integration of materials like quartzite, reflecting the surrounding landscape, creates a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. It’s clear that every detail has been thoughtfully considered,

making this home a turnkey vacation destination.

Our special treat was having CEO & President Dawn Wilkinson join us, who was in town for their second location in Denver, CO. Six Walls recently celebrated 20 years in the industry, with the success and longevity credited to the company’s philosophy of approachable and personalized design. It’s inspiring to hear how the team develops deep relationships with clients, capturing their unique stories and visions to create designs that resonate with their individuality.

Sustainability is another cornerstone of Six Walls’ ethos. Choosing materials goes beyond aesthetics; they focus on durability and maintenance, ensuring that the spaces they create endure over time. This commitment to sustainability reflects a broader understanding of responsible design, highlighting the importance of making choices that benefit both clients and the environment.

Six Walls is more than just a design firm; it’s a collaborative partner in bringing dreams to life. For anyone considering a custom home design or simply seeking inspiration for their next project, this showroom is a must-visit destination. Their innovative approach and deep commitment to client satisfaction make them a standout in the world of home design. If you’re interested in hearing why I’ve partnered with Six Walls on many projects over the years, including my own custom home in Kirkland (The Estate), give me a call or shoot me a message.
