#THEESTATE INSPO: THE SCULLERY

Updated: 3 days ago

What started as a walk-in pantry/prep space quickly evolved into a second, and equally gorgeous, kitchen. I love thinking back and hearing our builder asking me, "You want what in the prep kitchen?" Prep kitchen?! This was an ideal opportunity to fulfill my every hostest-pinterest-editorial fantasy. Gorgeous floor-to-ceiling cabinets with built-in Miele appliances, flanked by glass, built-in cabinets to display all my future sets of color coordinated, party specific dish- and service-ware. Oh and this floating marble shelf with stunning wall pendant lighting I've been drooling over ever since Athena Calderone featured her just completed Brooklyn home remodel on her blog Eye-Swoon. Already it's easily Max's favorite part of the house to show off, and all we have in there are cabinets. Can't wait to share the space when it's all done!
