Season of Giving
As 2018 comes to a close, we want to thank our clients for trusting us with such an important part of your life -- your home. This year, we are proud to say we have been able to give back more to the community than ever before. At every closing, we donate a portion of our commission to the Windermere Foundation.
This holiday season our family has committed to giving back to the community. Finding important causes that are meaningful to each of us; Audrey made a donation to Homeward Pet and Chloe chose to participate in the Giving Tree at our church. It's been so fun for our whole family to get involved in a cause each of us is passionate about.
Kicked off the holiday season at the Windermere For Kids. A program sponsored by Windermere East and the Deasy Family, providing a holiday to 100 families on the Eastside who would not otherwise have one. The girls were right there with us wrapping the gifts Max and Dorien picked out for his family.
In lieu of a holiday party this year, Max and I decided to host a “Party with a Purpose” to benefit Mary’s Place. Clients, colleagues and business partners came together this week to assemble 50 “Baby’s Best Start Bags”. Yesterday, we dropped them off at the shelter in North Seattle and the staff was blown away! And before we were finished unloading a mother was able to pick out one of the brand new onesies for her daughter. So a huge thank you to everyone who participated and went above and beyond donating extra items.
We are so grateful to have our girls in communities (Bellevue Christian School and now St. Thomas School) that are just as excited about philanthropy. Throughout the year we were able to support organizations our girls’ classmates' families were passionate about.
Max and I look forward to growing our commitment to philanthropy, community and, of course, to our clients in 2019.
